• Observaţie: N. Olcay reports the acquisition of 84 coins of Byzantium from a hd. found in Thrace or Asia Minor. This is very likely the same find from which the ANS obtained 14 pieces in 1929 (no. 724 above) in which case the heavy preponderance of Byzantine issues suggests Thrace as the more probable findspot
